First Thanksgiving in Fort McMurray

I haven't been really up to date with my blog because too many things had happened. Here is a quick update:
- Grandparents passed away this year, 97 and 100 years old
- Visited Baltimore, DC, SF, road-trip in California, Red Woods and Sequoia national park, Arcata, LA, Russia, Ukraine, Amsterdam, Kenora(Ontario)
- Started a new job with S u n cor Energy
- Hubby is going to be a published author and busy in the States! So proud of him.
- Have a wonderful friend support in Fort Mcmurray, I am so glad to have met so many good people that really make a difference in the community
- Going to drive the biggest truck in the World
- Feeling great about life, I am very happy.

Britney and I started prepping for thanksgiving at around 13:00, we spent around 200$ for the groceries and this will be Britney's FIRST turkey in her life. I told her to take the organs out of the butterball, her face was disgusted... I wish I had a camera to freeze that moment in time :)

This will be my first thanksgiving where I had an open invitation on Facebook like an open house but for a turkey dinner.

After hours of cooking, had some friends come over for the turkey dinner and was so much fun to just catch up with friends and enjoy a nicely cooked meal.

I sometime miss my life in Montreal where we (family) would always host dinner or brunch for friends and family. Those moments can't never be brought back because life moves on without waiting for you and everybody has busy lives.
